GFRC, GFRG, Interior Paneling, Exterior Cladding, GRG, Columns

The Union Station Bus Terminal project showcases the versatility and elegance of modern construction materials in two distinct applications.

Firstly, the interior of the terminal was adorned with precast GFRC panels, chosen for their durability and ease of installation. These panels, finished in a professional and minimalistic grey, were designed for simplicity and functionality. The use of specialized metal hinges, akin to the connectors of Lego bricks, facilitated a seamless and efficient mounting process, ensuring each panel fit perfectly into place, creating a cohesive wall facade and cladding.

The second phase of the project focused on the grand hallway area. Here, GRG was the material of choice, sculpted into elongated, uniform columns. These columns, with their pristine white, chalky finish, exude an air of sophistication and grandeur. To enhance the structural and aesthetic integrity of the columns, they were encased in custom-moulded cladding, ensuring a flawless finish.

Together, these two applications at the Union Station Bus Terminal highlight the adaptability and aesthetic potential of GFRC and GRG in contemporary architectural projects.
